TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
